Dunbar Students at Art Tooth @ SOMA

  • 101 S. Main Street Fort Worth, Texas (map)

We’re happy to announce that the FIRST EXHIBIT at the new Mini Gallery in the SoMa District Fort Worth Mini Park will be artwork created by students of Dunbar High School, which was showcased at the recent Dunbar Community Night at the Modern Art Museum. DHS faculty member, Dev'n Goodman organized the collaborations of fellow DHS teacher Devyn Gaudet and The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth ’s Assistant Curator of Education Jesse Morgan Barnett who worked with their students to create sculptures inspired by American artist Cy Twombly. DHS’ Student Ambassadors displayed their sculptures on Community Night on April 30th. After a successful event at The Modern, DHS Student’s Sculptures will be moving to Art Tooth’s newest Mini-Gallery on South Main. We’ll have everything ready just in time for Cinco on South Main so come check it out and help us support Fort Worth’s emerging artists thanks to SoMa District Fort Worth.
